1. How can I participate in the West Coast AAU Junior
    Olympic Games?

Each sport has its own requirements for participation. Click on the "How to Participate" button from the games homepage for step-by-step instructions.

2. How do I get an entry packet?

Each sport has its own entry packet. Entry packets are available at www.wcaaujrogames.org. Just select your sport. If you need additional information, please contact
wcaaujog@aausports.org

3. How do I become a member of the AAU?

You can join online at www.aausports.org and receive a membership immediately. Membership fees are $12 per athlete, $14 per coach. Depending on your sport, AAU Club Membership may also be required.

4. I paid for my AAU membership card, but never
received it. How do I get my card?

If you paid online, you will not receive a membership card in the mail, but will receive an email with your membership card. AAU Membership Cards can now be reprinted online at www.aausports.org . Click on “Membership Card Reprint.”  If you mailed your membership application to your District Office, but have not received your card, go online to print a copy. For additional assistance, contact membership@aausports.org.

5. Do I have to have my membership card at check-in?

Yes, we recommend that you bring your AAU membership card with you to check-in. AAU Membership Cards can now be reprinted online at www.aausports.org . If you don't bring your card, or do not have a current membership, you may be delayed at check-in.

6. I have sent in my entry, have you received it?

It is recommended you use an overnight mail service in order to track your entry. You can track your packet with the airbill number. If you receive confirmation from your mail service provider that your entry was delivered, then your entry has been received and will be processed if complete.  If your email address is on the entry form, you will receive an email confirmation once your entry has been processed. Due to the volume of entries, please allow 7 to 10 days for processing. Coaches, if your email address is listed on multiple athlete forms you will receive multiple emails. Please note that accounts with spam blocks and controls might not receive the
confirmation.

7. Can my entry be postmarked on the entry deadline
date or does it need to be received by the entry
    deadline date?

Entries must be RECEIVED by the entry deadline. In order to meet deadlines, you may need to overnight your entry.

8. It is after the entry deadline. Can I still enter?

Depending on the sport, late entries may or may not be accepted. You can call the registration coordinator to see if the deadline for your sport and/or division can be extended
at (407) 828-8323.

9. Can a coach check in for the athlete or does the
    athlete need to be present?

If the coach has a copy of the AAU membership card and all the paperwork has been properly submitted in advance, then a coach can check-in for the athlete. The athlete does not need to be present, except for the team sports of basketball and baseball. Please refer to your entry packet for more specific information.

10. The schedule says check-in for my sport is on
Monday, but I don't compete until Wednesday.
Do I have to check-in on Monday?

All athletes must check-in the day prior to when they compete. Please pay close attention to assigned check-in times. If you don't compete on the first day of competition, you don't have to check-in on the first day. Make sure that you are properly checked-in one day prior to your competition.

11. My flight arrives after the check-in is closed. Can I
      check-in the next day?

You will not be allowed to compete without checking in. We strongly recommend you check-in the day prior to competition. Registration is open to any sport during operating hours (except for team sports when you must check-in as a team). If you are checking in the day you compete, there may be lines at check-in and you may miss your event.  Please refer to your entry packet for additional information.

12. I sent in my entry, but now I can't come. How do I
      get a refund?

All fees are non-refundable. You will not get a refund if you do not come.

Schedules will be posted on the web at www.wcaaujrogames.org when available. If you have additional questions, please see your sport specific entry packet for contact information.

14. What does a credential allow me to do?

Your credential is your pass into all planned activities, sport venues, and special events for the games.  Athletes with credentials will receive an AAU Junior Olympic Games 2008 t-shirt, along with their Goodie Bag.

15. Will transportation be provided for athletes
      to the venues?

Participants are responsible for their own transportation needs.

18. How do I get my goodie bag? What's in it?

Goodie bags will be handed out at registration. They are free to each registered athlete and include various products from event sponsors.
